Step 1: Connect your iPhone to any computer. You can go to a nearby Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Retail Store if you do not have a computer with you.

Step 2: Open iTunes.

Step 3: Now, you’ve to enter into the recovery mode by force restarting it.

For iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, Press the Volume Up button and quickly release it. In the same way, press the Volume Down button and quickly release it. Next, hold the Side button for a couple of seconds until you get a recovery-mode screen on your iPhone.

For iPhone 7 and 7 Plus: Press and hold the Volume Down and Side buttons simultaneously. Just keep holding both the buttons until there is a recovery-mode screen on your iPhone 7 or 7 Plus.

For iPhone 6s, 6, 5, or earlier: Press and hold the Side and Home buttons simultaneously. Just keep holding both the buttons until there is a recovery-mode screen on your iPhone.

Step 4: You’ll see a prompt with 2 options. One is Restore and the other is Update. Tap on Restore.

Step 5: Now, iTunes starts downloading the software on your iPhone. It usually exits recovery mode if the download takes more than 15 minutes. Whenever it exits the recovery money, you need to force restart your iPhone again using the above processes to enter the recovery mode again.
